Nate Super is a PhD student in the Department of English. Their research focuses on 20th and 21st century literature, histories of science and medicine, sexuality, and embodiment, using methods from queer, trans, and disability studies. They received a BA in English literature and a BS in biochemistry from the Ohio State University in 2022. Their undergraduate thesis research studied how models of embodiment move cyclically between sexological texts and trans life writing and how this knowledge changes when passed between these sources.
